AI Trainer

Teach a computer something yourself, right in the browser.

Step 1 of 2

What you'll learn in this level

  • That you can train an AI yourself using examples
  • Why the quality of the examples decides the quality of the AI
  • What happens when training data contains mistakes

Teach the AI something

An AI learns from examples. The better your examples, the smarter it gets.

Sort the example pictures into the right boxes. Then we'll test whether the AI recognises new pictures correctly.

How it works

  1. Collect examples

Pictures are gathered for each group, here cats and dogs.

  2. Label

Every picture goes into the right group. Experts call this labelling.

  3. Train

The AI looks for what the pictures in a group have in common.

  4. Test

New pictures are used to check whether it really learned it.

Guess first, then experiment

You accidentally drop a dog picture into the cat box. Will the AI notice when you test it?

Tip: Sort the examples carefully — wrong examples teach the AI the wrong thing!
