Now it gets real

In level 1 you learned that a computer doesn't see pictures, only numbers. In this level you get to try that out with a real camera.

You'll get four missions - for example "hold something red up to the camera". Your device works out live how much red, green and blue it can see, and you watch the numbers while it happens.

How it works

  1. Catch the light

    Your camera sensor holds millions of tiny measuring points. Each one catches light.

  2. Turn it into numbers

    Each point becomes three numbers. One for red, one for green, one for blue.

  3. Put it together

    All the points together make a grid. That is exactly what the computer sees.

  4. Work it out

    Then an AI looks for patterns in these numbers.
